![]() | Rob and Julie have between them more than 35 years experience in basketmaking. They have always had an interest in practical self-sufficiency, having kept goats, pigs, sheep, and poultry, and although they no longer keep any livestock, they still garden organically, and are interested in Green issues. They see basketmaking as an extension of that life-style. Their work can be seen at various craft fairs and events throughout Norfolk and Suffolk, including Euston Park Gressenhall Rural Life Museum (Roots) Apple Day, Burnham Market Craft Fair, Royal Norfolk Show, Holkham Country Fair, and Fakenham Farmers Market. Occasionally, they will travel further afield if the venue is suitable. They always demonstrate their craft at these events, space permitting. Rob is also prepared to give demonstrations to groups and Associations, by arrangement. It is not unusual to see Rob & Julie playing fiddle and accordion at the end of a hard day at a craft fair, as folk music and dance is another major interest in their lives.
